Description: When you have passed the examination of general practising (18-21 months), you are free to apply for a trainee programme in which speciality you want and wherever you want in Sweden. It is up to the hospital and head of the department to decide who they want to employ for 5 years ahead-at least. The trainee is free to choose side-education at other departments during the trainee programme, often chosen are: gynecologic oncology, surgery colorectal and breast, neonatology..
